Bite Back
Project
Bite Back
Bite Back is a youth movement fighting for healthier food choices. In 2019, 12 young activists started a petition to stop the promotion of junk food. The movement has grown, but the food system is still complex and unfair.
This system contributes to health problems like type 2 diabetes and heart disease, affecting almost 1 in 3 children aged 2-15.
We helped the brand become more assertive, challenging corporations with big budgets and little responsibility. We used their own tactics against them.
Bite Back needed to do more to fight the constant online junk food ads and the rising cost of healthy food.
They wanted a new approach that didn't blame families for eating unhealthy food and a stronger identity that addressed child health issues, including the NHS, obesity, nutrition, and social class.
Initial Mouth Exploration
The new Bite Back brand is on a mission to smack down corporate irresponsibility.
They’re calling out the junk food giants for surrounding our kids with unhealthy options. It’s time for these companies to back off and give kids a fighting chance at healthy eating.
